1997-‘02   -   University of Yeditepe, Mathematics Department, B.S.

 

²     Is a private university, where official language and education in English, located in Istanbul, Turkey.

²     Awarded a Full-Scholarship from OSYM – National Testing Center of Turkey, to study at  the University of Yeditepe.

²     Graduated as top student from the Department of Mathematics, University of Yeditepe in regular period, July 2002.

²     Working as a Student Assistant in the mathematics department, teaching P.S. – Problem Solution  sections of Differential Equations and Linear Algebra courses to Science and Engineering Faculty students for one and half years. And also helping instructors of the department as an observer in the exams.

²     Studing Computer Engineering courses including ‘C / C++, Java, Data Structures, Principles of Programming Languages’ courses. Also studied courses of Economics Department including ‘Macro & Micro Economics, and Financial Institutions’ courses.

²     Studing on a Graduate Project – ‘Modeling and Prediction of Time Series’ which contains knowledge of Economics, Mathematics, and Programming. The project analyzes and makes the best models that forecast of Time Series Data with consultant of Advisor Prof. Dr. Ayse H. Bilge, University of Istanbul Technic, using MathLab & Mathematica, 2002.

²     Voluntarily working as a Secretary of Physics and Mathematics departments with trust of the chairman of department, including all secretarial duties, for two semesters. And giving knowledge to students about stuff. Also programmed a Transcript Programme for physics and mathematics departments with consultant of Advisor Prof. Dr. Rabia INCE, University of Yeditepe, using VBasic, 2000.

²     Founder Science Club, University of Yeditepe, 1998. Teaching courses to support lessons, making scientific and educational panels and discussion platforms to make the university students be interested in science.

²     Working in the University Library as a volunteer. Registering documents and books to computer, solving hardware and software problems, helping students to do their researches and to find the documents, and putting the books in order.

²     Organizing students of the university and participating European Council Exchanges – WAT Program – to work & travel with J1-Visa in the USA. Make more than 200 students to participate in the program to improve English, be familiar with US business, and earn some money and travel.

²     Member and the University Representative of AKUT Search & Rescue Team, 1999-2002. Organizing a group of English-know students to make communication with foreign rescue teams and to help injuried people in 1999, Izmit and Duzce Earthquakes, happened in Turkey.

²     Participating in foundation of Union of university Clubs and in organisation of First Spring Fest containing big concerts more than 5,000 students joined, sporting events, competitions, games,  shows, etc. in new campus – 19 August Settlement. Arranging and playing amateur soccer and volleyball. Organizing and participating many indoor and outdoor activities to improve social life and relation in the University.
